Pickup point: what it is and when it makes sense

A pickup point is a shop or branch where the buyer collects their parcel instead of receiving it at home, within a defined period.

It solves two problems: the buyer who is never home and areas where home delivery is expensive or unsafe. For the operator, concentrating parcels at one point lowers the cost per delivery.

The buyer gets a notice with the point's address, the collection deadline and a code. If not collected in time, the parcel is returned.
